COATING GLOSS LEVEL

Sometimes the paint gloss chosen can completely change the final look of the coat and the product itself.

Gloss is measured in % and levels at a particular angle level.

Generally the higher the gloss, the more light is being reflected from the coated surface.

Glossy coatings are both easy to polish and clean of possible contamination. On the other hand, glossy coatings generally highlight surface and  pre-treatment defects  .

Matt coatings on the other hand can cover these surface defects and the its application is not as demanding. However cleaning and polishing matt surface is much more difficult compared to glossy surface.
